Plan Your Visit

Welcome to the Cultural Heritage Centre

A landmark destination on the Arusha–Dodoma Road, where art, heritage, craftsmanship, and discovery come together under one roof. Open daily for visitors, collectors, and the simply curious.

Why Visit

More than a destination — an experience

The Cultural Heritage Centre is one of East Africa’s most celebrated cultural landmarks. Since 1994, we have welcomed visitors from around the world to explore our galleries, workshops, and curated collections. Whether you are on safari, passing through Arusha, or making a special journey, this is a place where the depth and beauty of African art, craftsmanship, and history are revealed in an atmosphere of calm and wonder.

Every visit offers something new — a recently acquired painting, a freshly cut tanzanite, a conversation with a resident artisan, or a quiet moment in the sculpture garden. We invite you to take your time and discover what draws you in.
