About the Exhibition
Figures of Africa celebrates the human form as a powerful subject in African art. Through paintings, sculpture, and mixed media, the exhibition explores identity, beauty, movement, ceremony, motherhood, work, spirituality, and daily life across the continent.
Each figure carries a story — of culture, memory, presence, and human connection. Together, the works reveal the richness and diversity of African people and the many ways artists honour the individuals and communities that shape the continent.
